We are new to cruise vacations. We leave on the Glory this Saturday, Jan. 13th, Port Canaveral, FL.

We would like to experience dining in the Emerald Room. How do you make reservations for the Emerald Room?

We ate in the Emerald Room on our last Glory Trip. We made reservations on the Promanade Deck. They usually have a little area set up here and there where you can make reservations.
When you first board the ship, check out the Lido deck...alot of Spa personnel and Emerald Room Reservation Desks.
Hope this helps

Thanx! Smile Now we know the one of the first things we want to take care of after boarding, and where and how. Again, thank-you.

When we were on The Glory we loved The Emerald Room. We too booked by the pool pretty much as soon as we boarded. Make sure you order dessert the presentation was outstanding as was the wine connoisseur.

We sail on Glory in July. What is the Emerald Room? And is it worth the extra expense?

The Emerald Room is a Reservations Only Supper Club. It cost either $30.00 or $50.00 per person, I can't remember which. It is more upscale than the regular dining room - which by the way, does a bang up job on the Glory.
It's fun to try once. They have a HUGE Porterhouse steak something like 24 oz....something like that. I just wouldn't get the Filet Mignon...you get that down in the regular dining room one night and also, if ever you don't find anything on the menu one night in the regular dining room, you can order a Filet Mignon.
Hope this helps
