Hello! I'm new here. I'm sailing on June 29 on Fascination. I chose a 3 day cruise because it's my first cruise and I didn't know what to expect. What is there for singles to do on the cruises?

Hi Sila. Welcome. You're smart to book your first cruise for a 3 day. Get your feet wet at first and see if you like cruising. I'm sure you'll be hooked immediately. For our family, it's the only way to travel. Have a great first cruise. A'ndrea

Welcome to the great world of cruising!!! I am new to this too, but on my 3 cruise this summer… Once you taste it you are hooked... Your Nick is Sila?? The only woman that have been Gubernator of Puerto Rico Has the same name, Is not you?? Well, any way you can enjoy every part of it with a positive attitude, During your Cruise there should be a few “parties for singles” so you will not get bored or you can enjoy food, activities and the palladium shows. There is so much to do…that three days is not enough Next time, if you have the money, book a 7 day cruise so you can really enjoy it.
Welcome to the cruising world Sila... You will find a schedule of the days itinerary every day in your cabin. Have a Great Time. Sandy

Hello just got back from our first cruise was a 7day we are hooked. We came right home and started looking for our next cruise. Chocolate melting cake-----greatest thing ever!!
3 day and first cruise... oh you will be having withdrawls before you even dock...just take your travel agents number with you, you will be ready to book another ASAP.
Just an interesting observation. The first post does not have a bottom line listing posts and register date. Maybe it was moved or something? Just something I noticed as weird.
Prime Rib and Lobsta a must!

So, is the first night formal night? I am scheduled for the early dinner. This is my very first cruise so I don't know what to expect. Is there a difference in the age of the crowd for early dinner vs late dinner?
Sila, the first night on board is casual. Usually what you embarked wearing. Chances are, many passengers won't get their luggage in their rooms until later in the evening.
It seems that people traveling with young children or people that retire early enjoy the early seating. We've done both. I prefer 8:15 seating. Just our preference. I don't like having to rush back from the sun deck or excursions, quickly shower and get to dinner. It's more relaxing, for my family, with the later seating.
I believe formal night is the second night.
Do not miss the warm chocolate melting cake on the dessert menu. Have fun. A'ndrea
