We have booked a cruise for our family of five on this ship. Any reviews of this ship? Also we paid about $3500 without airfare, is this a good deal?

There are quite a few reviews of Carnival Triumph at the sister site, www.cruisereviews.com. Some are quite recent. As far as the price you paid, whether it's a good deal depends on how many cabins you booked, what type they are (inside, oceanview, balcony or suite), and how far ahead of time you booked it. Just returned from a Western Carribbean cruise on the Triumph in Feb. 2005. Had a great time. The ship is large and beautiful. We had a balcony state room at the very back of the ship. Just loved the movement of the ship. We paid a little over $2,000 for 2 people, so having 5 people for that price seems fair. Can't wait to cruise again.
