There are 40 new cruise ships under construction between now and 2012. Ten of those vessels will be out in the next twelve months. The next Carnival vessel is the Carnival Splendor. She will debut this July sailing in Northern Europe, then move to the Mediterranean & Greek Isles. At the end of the season in October she will make a Transatlantic voyage to Ft Lauderdale where she will spend the winter doing an Exotic Eastern Caribbean itinerary. On January 31st she will sail from Ft Lauderdale on a 17 day cruise to Buenos Aires then a 14 day from Buenos to Santiago, Chile. From Santiago she will sail 18 days stopping at various South America and Mexico ports until she arrives in San Francisco. On March 29, 2009 she will then start a permanent shedule sailing out of Los Angeles (Long Beach) doing 7day Mexican Riviera cruises.

Do you know what will happen to the Pride that is now in Long Beach. Will it remain? How about the Spirit?
I haven't heard any news about the Spirit. It is scheduled to go to Vancouver, May through September and then back to San Diego, after a run from Honolulu to Ensenada. As far as I know.
Cruise Fanatic will be back in a few days, and she may have more information.

Thanks Dwayne. Yes the Pride is a nice ship. We will be on her in Oct, we were on her once in Sept of 2002. I know she is a sister ship of the Spirit. Trying to remember a few differences on the ship. seems like I remember the Pride having a Pizza place on Deck 3 or so. Maybe a few other minor things.
