What's the lowest price I can expect for June on Carnival's Elation (first week of June; 7 days from LA to Mexico)? Currently, the lowest price I'm finding is $750 per person. Is it unrealistic to expect the prices to go below $500? The other issue is we have 12 people to accomodate, so I don't know how long we can wait before purchasing tickets. Thanks for any advice!!

IMHO, it is unrealistic to expect prices to drop around the $500 mark for a 7 night cruise in June in a market that has little competition (LA departures). I'm not saying it won't happen, however, if it does it's likely to be within 3-4 weeks of sailing when they are trying to fill up the ship. Not the best time to purchase a cruise if your trying to accommodate 12 people.
