Hi there,
I'm a newbie here and a first time cruiser. We are soooo looking forward to this. I guess you'd say this was our Honeymoon. Iraq kinda got in the way...LoL!!

We want to go on a "swim" with the dolphins. All the excursions I've seen say that you will "not be pushed or pulled by the dolphins".
I tried searching here and do apologize if it's been discussed before. If anyone has some info or a link that would be much appreciated.

DH is diving in Grand Caymans so we can't do it there and of course I DON'T think we'll be stopping in Cozumel (22 Jan).

Thanks a bunch,
Debbie

Hi Debbie,

There are dolphin tours where you can get more involved. Here is one: Dolphin Cove Jamaica

Which cruise are you going on? If I know the itinerary I can help you further.

Cozumel is still recovering from the devastation. I don't think the dolphin tours are back in service, but none of those offered at Cozumel involve being pulled or pushed anyway. The dolphin tours at Costa Maya are the same. So - it looks like the best you can hope for is getting in the pool with them and mingling.

Belize offers lots of aquatic stuff to do - another great diving location, and some great snorkeling. Have you looked at the snuba tour? You don't need a diving certification to do snuba.
