Our family (3 kids 13, 9 and 4) will be on this cruise. We love to snorkel and have beach fun but have read so many reviews on where you should and shouldn't go in Cozumel that I'm just confused! What would be the best spot to camp out for the day and early evening in Cozumel (keeping the kids in mind); and what should we do in Key West??
Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

I would contact some of the hotels there by e mail some of them have 1 day tickets to use thier facilities, we have been there twice the first a cruise not much time so we shopped the second time we went all incluise at a resort for 1 week they have a place out on the outshirts of town would not recommend it where there are dolphin swims and swimming its a park they advertise sorry can not remember name just not worth the time or money, be very careful if you rent cars there walk around and have 2 o 3 people witness the walk, mark every dent ding broken glass tail lights head lites every thing as they are very sneaky in rentals we wound up pays 300.00 for a broken plastic tail light that was long broke before us the man did not speak much english that walk the car with us lesson learned

We just returned from the same cruise and we had a blast. One reminder try to stay away from the ship planned excursions they are only in it for the kick back from the company they are trying to sell for we found that things are much cheaper and you are free to come and go as you please. We found a great place to snorkle just a few miles from the pier it was 7.00 dollars and that included everything even a short but informative training lesson. Most places in that area were very close in price and saw lots of families at each.A tip if you really want to get around and see alot of the island rent scooters or mopeds they are 25 dollars each and can ride two you get them for the whole day. We went around the whole southern half and still had time to stop at alot of different white sand beaches. You can even get to the ruins via moped. Now on Key West we felt that the time in town was wat too short we just did the shopping thing. You arrive later than it says on any online itinary it says 7am but by the time you get off the ship its more like 9am and back on at 1pm.The southen most point in the u.s is a nice side trip also. The on board activities are super for kids and adults too have a great cruise.
