Has anyone sailed in room 7258 or 7260? The balconies are huge but there is a blank space next to the room. Does anyone know what that is and if there is a lot of noise in that area?

I really don't know. It looks like a steward service and storage area since it is common on the passenger decks. It is also a blank space off of the Promenade and Atlantic decks as well, so it could be a vertical service and access area between the decks. It certainly isn't a disco or anything that would make noise. I had a cabin very close to there on the Legend's Panorama deck, and walked by it often. It seems it was some kind of storage when the door was open.

Nice Balconies for sure!

The Carnival people told me that there are washer and dryers on deck 7. I'm not sure where though. We will be in room 7249.

I still have not been able to find out what that space is yet, I love a good mystery.

BTW, I concur with drlivingston on the location of the self serve launderette on Deck 7. Smile

I called Carnival and it seems this space is the quarters of the housekeepers for the deck. It is divided into two seperate rooms for the staff.

It seems odd they would design the ship that way. I mean using outside/balcony cabin space as a crew area. I am going to make a note of this oddity though. The next time I book a balcony on the Spirit Class, I may want one of those balconies. Smile
