I'm not so sure its as difficult to process them as you would think Dwayne. When RCCL changed their surcharge and credited accounts, my sister got her refund applied to her on board account in about 2 days from the annoucement.

And when CCL announced the surcharge, it was applied to my account within the week. I would expect them to be able to remove it in equal time....

IF you booked before Nov 7, 2007....

I knew that Carnival would do this months ago. It does not surprise me at all. We booked our last cruise on Nov 8th.

I got an emial from Carnival today stating that an onboard ship credit would be waiting for me when our cruise leaves 5/17/08. Yeppie...more drinks of the day for me!!!

Jim, It does seem to be going expeditiously. Your's should be showing up soon I would think. They may be doing the earlier sailings first as you mentioned.

The language about the later sailing date bookings being adjusted seems a little confusing. Does anyone know if that means they will send out checks instead of crediting the original payment method, or give on board credits?
