First time cruiser here leaving on the Valor. We are getting married in St. Thomas. Any tips or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

My husband and I went on the Carnival Valor in May 2006. That was our first cruise and we had a wonderful time. The ship was large, but we got adjusted in one day. Our travel agent booked us a balcony guarantee room and we received a very nice balcony room on the 9th floor (Lido Deck). I would highly recommend going to the Supper Club one night. We paid $30 per person, but the food was excellent. The beds were very comfortable, especially with the light rocking of the ship. We went to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Marteen. St. Thomas was nice...good shopping. I hope you have a wonderful time.
