Planning cruises, booking cruises, packing for cruises, dreaming cruises, flying to the cruise port, being on the cruise.
I love embarkation day.
I hate debarkation day and Fort Lauderdale airport.
Oh yes, and I love MARS bars.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens.
Brown paper packages tight up with string,
These are a few of my favorite things.
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels,
Doorbells and sleighbells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things.
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites, when the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad...

My ex-husband told our kids (while they were watching "The Sound of Music" that when he was a young lad he thought that Mary Poppins was hot.
That still grosses them out to this day.

I like being an ex-wife.

This sounds like a list if "life's little pleasures" Such as

The feel of a new toothbrush
Your first Birdie
Seeing your children after 8 months away
Peas, right out of the garden
Your first paycheck
and of course...
Chocolate melting cake

Hi ontheway. I'm glad to see someone is paying attention!

Colon blow is a concoction that a chef friend makes. It is made with the hottest fresh peppers you can find. Fry these in extra virgin olive oil, SEVERAL cloves of fresh garlic, fresh ground pepper, kosher salt, onions/cut up. You can add fresh mushrooms at the end, if you desire.
Fry until almost blackened. This is messy. We usually cook it outside on our grill burner.

Serve with a good, crusty italian or ciabatta bread. Appetizer or side dish.

Delicious.

That's when the expression, "fire in the hole" becomes personal.

Mr. F Mattox, care to comment? You don't actually work for ASCAP though, do you?

Using ASCAP or BMI protected material without permission is only a problem if it is used in a "for profit" venue.

But quoting lame lyrics like that should be illegal.
Sorry Dr. L, but the only version of that song I ever liked was John Coltrane's.

Hooked-on-HAL,
Isn't it better that your ex thought Mary Poppins was "hot" instead of him thinking your mother was hot? Lol

Now, that's gross!
