OK Rodney!

One more, and I don't care if they can sing is very entertaining Smile

In Mexico do Bargain, the vendors on the front streets pay premium for their spots and charge the same. Go to the side streets and get for 1/3 of the cost.

one thing I've learned is that I learn a lot in this forum. Either ask and wait for opinions and answers or someone else is asking the same questions

IslandCruz- That satement about bargaining holds true in everyplace in the Carribean. Not just in Mexico. The vendors make their money on those that don't bargain. They are expert at it and therefore 3 more things from me-

1) If a vendor claims your price will cause his childern to starve- Your response is - better yours than mine

2) That item that you think you can not get anywhere else will be seen in every shop you go into. Or you can buy it on the internet for a better price.

3) The vendors know you will start your bargain price at half the price tag. They have already marked their wanted price up by twice to get the sticker price. Throw your anchor WAY out.

1. Never Give out my Cabin Number to more than One woman in the the same Day.

2.Take My Carnival Towel with me even if it's just a short trip to the Bathroom. (theres people like me onboard)

3.Allways take a taxi from Nassau to Atlantis. the (small packed) boat ride sucks and it's a mile walk from the (small packed) Boat to Atlantis.

Keep an eye out for someone with more than one towel.

Two older men walking down the path meet a talking frog. She says "Kiss me and I'll turn into a beautiful princess and I'll do ANYTHING you want!" First man reaches down and puts the frog in his pocket. The second man says "Didn't you hear what she said - ANYTHING you want!" First man says "At my age, I'd rather have a talking frog!" 1. 8:30 dining time is a little too late when wanting to see shows and other events.

2. Don't start your cruise tired from a long car ride or you will miss out on some exciting views the first day.

3. Read and ask questions on this forum before your cruise....lots of great advice.

1. do not book excursions with the ship

2. Tip well/ use skycaps at airport and at debark terminal, gets you thru customs faster

3. Book rooms close to elevators and never book 6th floor rooms over the dance clubs and Karaoke bar on the fifth floors.

1. Get a fountain drink card $22 for soda
2. Use the bath towels when going to the pool areas, keeping track of the $22 beach towels becomes stressful when you travel with children.
3. If on Celebration look up Anderson from St. Vincent, he is an awesome drinks waiter.

Re: Item #1 - I'm worried about being left behind if the excursion runs late... That's why we spent the extra money... How do you avoid the risk of watching the ship sail out of port without you?

We're first-time cruisers so excuse me, but we don't know what sky caps are and how do they get you through customs sooner?!

refer to suen0724's other post on cabin noise..

For mani8kgm - skycaps is probably not the most correct term since they are not in the airport. You can get baggage handles to load up your luggage onto a cart. Yes, its going to cost you a tip, but I rarely see (ok I have not seen it but it could happen) a group using a baggage handler pulled into the "check your luggage by rifling through it" line at customs. So this is what was meant.. if you use them you can normally cut the risk of a bag search out of the customs passage.

my room on my last cruise was on the 6th floor and I had no problem with noise. We had rooms 6187, 6191, and 6193. I am sure it depends on which are of the ship you are on
