What is the weather like crusing in August to the Cayman Island and Ocho Rios. I know its warm over there now is it warm all the time, like in Ausgust alot of pictures I see the sky look cloudy and I know cloudy skies in Michigan mean not warm weather due to no SUN. Just curious will we have nice weather when we cruise in August??

Your weather should be great when you go me and my wife went to Cayman Islands once in June and once in September and it was in the 90's and sunny both times. Have a good time.

Get ready to burn.....
You are 1300 miles close to the Ecuador ..
The Sun hits the Sea and the Deck of the Ship a different angle " the spanish Sailors called it " resolana" you will appreciate a few clouds here and there.... Bring SPF 50 and work your way down to 15 at the end....unless of course tou have a tone skin base and you won't go too red....
Cool

Yes, nice warm weather! You may get a short rain shower at that time of year but they usually blow thru pretty quickly.

the weather is warm. should you run into a little rain don't leave those prime sun deck chairs(sun deck is better in my opinion because you have a view of the ocean and the lido deck below plus the breeze is much better than the Lido) most rain this time of year is usually a isolated shower and the captian will do his best to navigate the ship around the rain clouds. it is funny to see all rookie cruisers gather thier things and leave while the veterns stay put and sip on something cold and the light rain is almost always over within 5 minutes.

We were on the Valor last year in Aug. we are going again in aug. on the Miracle. the weather was perfect. Hot but not too hot. 80's 90's. I sprinkling of rain for 5 min. The balmy breeze is great. You will enjoy the weather and it couldn't be better.

We cruised the Southern Caribbean last August (late in the month), and the weather was in the 90s. We had minimal rain (I think about 10 minutes total in St. Maarten.) I found it very humid inland, but on the ship and near the shoreline, the ocean breezes helped. Ivaro is correct about the sunscreen, too. Too many people on our cruise got sunburn early in the trip because they didn't wear sunscreen. Cool

July & August are the only months i have ever cruised because of work and school schedules, everyone thinks i am crazy for planning my vacation in the middle of hurricane season, but i have had nothing but beautiful weather every time, it did rain once in Jamaica for about half a second but when it is 85 degrees outside a few rain drops will not spoil your good time.
