I made reservations over the phone with a Carnival representative and she e-mailed me a very small, illegible document. I have requested a paper copy be sent to me, but haven't seen it yet. What should I do?
First...how long has it been since you made the reservation? It usually takes between 10 days to 2 weeks to get your invoice or confirmation by mail. If it has been that long, then call back to Carnival and ask again for something to be sent to you. You can also go to the Carnival site and put in your booking number and print somwthing from there. As long as you have a Carnival booking number you are OK.
I had the same thing happen to me on our last cruise. We got the tickets for one cabin, but not for the other. I called Carnival a couple of times and they said not to worry about it, as long as I had a booking number that was all I needed.
I was especially concerned because we didn't have any luggage tags or room number.
I went to the fun pass check in used the booking number and was all set.
At the dock, the porter gave us a list of everyone one the ship, we found our name, our room number, we put tags on the luggage, it was in our room right on time.
