we are due to arrive the morning of our cruise starting in honolulu and not sure what the best option is with check-in. Our flight is due to arrive at approx 7 am, and of course boarding wont be starting until after 11:30 am or about. Whats the best option as far as getting from the airport to the ship without having to wait for too long? is there good facilities at the cruise terminal? also if I pre-book transfers with Carnival,will they take me direct to the ship and let me check in at this time of the morning ??

Sounds like a question for a professional Travel Agent, or someone that has had this experience. I can only answer about the Carnival transfers. To my knowledge the transfers do not give any type of priority check-in.

However, I learn something new here every day. Best wishes Smile

Hello dizzybelle;

I would suggest using the Carnival trnsfers. They will have a hospitality room set up for the early arrivals at the terminal. You can get checked in, relax, have refreshments and be among the first ones on once the ship is cleared for boarding.

Hi dizzybelle, The Carnival transfers are the best option for transportation in my opinion as well, as f-mattox suggested.

The point I was trying to make is that the Transfers do not mean that you can check-in immediately. It will certainly place you in the front of the line though. Not sure, but have heard the Transfers start at 8:30 AM.

HI all, Carnival has transfers starting at 8:30, but dont seem to have a hospitality room at honolulu airport they did mention that we can drop our luggage at the baggage claim and then wait until embarkation starts.. So i guess will do that.. thanks again for all your replies

By the time you get off the plane and get your luggage, it shouldn't be too long of a wait. You are most welcome for the replies. Smile
