I decided to finally take a cruise and take my three boys with me. This is our first cruise and I know they will be busy. What can a Single Lady do while the boys play?

There are so many activities to do you can't even do them all. They are not all geared toward couples. They also have a singles meet and greet where you can meet other single cruisers.

For a link to some of the onboard activities click here.

Hi SensualTaurus, welcome to Cruise-Chat. I've done a few cruises solo and will be doing another in May. As IslandCruz states, there are so many activities that you just can't do them all. Some of my favorites are the games by the pool, they have the sexy legs, hairy chests, relay races, horse races, bingo, name that tune, etc. I love the art auctions, the wine tasting, the ice sculpting demonstrations, the fruit carving demos, and the cooking demos as well. Even if some of the events are for couples, they're fun to watch. And, of course, there's always the casino when you're not in port. You can do as much or as little as you like. You can even read a book by the pool. You'll have a wonderful time! Best wishes for a wonderful cruise and once again, welcome aboard!

I am a single mother with a 7 yr old daughter. We have cruised by ourselves before and are leaving May 24 on RCCL Liberty of the Seas as well. One good thing is at dinner you will be seated with other people. So if your boys decide to do the camp carnival things in the evening and not go to dinner with you, you wont have to dine alone. The thing a like the least about it is after the show I would like to go dancing and I feel uncomfortable going by myself. Other than that I am fine. I have never went to the singles meet and greet before. I guess I feel wierd like everyone is staring at me. Too bad you aren't going on the same one as me. I have been on 19 cruises and you and the boys will love this as a vacation. Have fun

There are also one or two "single" meet and greets for various ages at the piano bar.

They will be listed in the Capers.

Hello All,

Thank you for your suggestions. The more the cruise gets near, the less fear I am having. I spoke with a co-worker who helped to relieve some of my anxieties. My sons are rearing and ready to go.

I look forward to the Singles Greet, To: Cruizin, I am somewhat shy but I will try and come out of that on this cruise.

Thanks again, everyone.

To the best of my knowledge Carnival does not sponsor or offer a swinger dinner as a social activity. Roll Eyes
