Well today I have been checking the carnival.com site in order to check my status and the tours of my upcoming cruise. I found that now you can book your tours with a lot of time ahead to your cruise without any trouble but this add questions to the process:
1. I have not made my last payment for the cruise but still they let me book my tours.
If I book my tours and decide to cancel later the cruise, do they also refund the tours money or they keep it??
2. If I decide to make the final payment to my cruise and pay it all before my three months period:
If the prices goes down in the future do they still give me the new special price??
Can I still cancel the cruise before the three months period and get a refound of the money or do I lose that option and cannot cancel the cruise?
Yes, you will get your money back on the tours. A refund on the cruise will depend on which promotion you booked your cruise. The Early Saver deposit is non-refundable. If you were still outside of any penalty period then you would get all else back. If you booked under a different promotion than Early Saver, and are outside of any penalty period than you should get it all back.
Lower price refund is trickier. If you booked under Early Saver you have up to 48hours before the cruise sails to claim a lower price. If booked under other promotions you only have up to 48 hours after the initial booking to claim a lower price.
