If you have EVER registered in the OceanPlayersClub on any Carnival-owned ship and used your card in the machines or at the tables, you are already in the system. Before your next cruise on Carnival-owned lines, go to the website oceanplayersclub.com and let them know you are coming. You will receive a letter in your cabin to meet the casino host for comps. To email them directly, enter 9 9's in the member number field. The website is new and they have not assigned everyone a number yet. I did this on the last cruise and I think was the only one on the ship that did. The casino staff goes out of their way every time once they meet you, regardless of how much you gamble.

That is a great tip! I have been a member for several years. The website isn't new though. I liked it better when you could email the host/hostess of a particular ship directly from the site. They keep changing the program enrollment details. Last October I was told by the Hostess that they were not going to issue Membership cards, and the site had just not been updated yet.

They use to let you roll over any slot points to your next cruise if it was within 2 years. Anyway, I can't agree more about them treating you well. I have been given several caps and t-shirts, and assorted misc. gifts. Not to mention a few drinks as well. And that is with me being a low roller slot player. I always go meet them the first day too. Smile

Here is a link to OceanPlayersClub.

Its pretty confusing to me...they said they go back 2 years in rating your play, but they only go back to your last cruise when deciding what comps to give you. I think what she meant to say was they will review your last cruise within 2 years! The lady I spoke with said membership numbers would eventually be issued but for now use 9 9's! Oh well...whatever works!

Another tip is to take cash or traveler's checks for the casino. They charge 3% to get money on the Sail & Sign account.

I don't even like putting the card in the machines to get the points! I know I have posted this before..I lost 2 cards by leaving them in the machines on one cruise! Then they started giving me a bungee cord everytime I walked in. Big Grin
