Hi - I'm sailing on the Imagination in June and have a 2 part question.
1. We're booked into Catg. 12, Room U79. Anyone stayed in this suite? Would like to know about its condition.
2. I'm booked to fly out in mid-afternoon on the day we return. Anyone done the Carnival Art Deco/South Beach excursion? Is it a good way to kill time until we go to the airport?
Thanks bunches.
Kathy

Im booked in cabin U69 on the imagination on July 12th, will you let me know how you liked the room and the ship? Thanks Jeanette pacisforever@aol.com
We sailed in a category 12 on Fantasy in '98, and really enjoyed it. Very spacious, comfortable, and we just loved the balcony. Got spoiled - we have wanted only balcony cabins since! Enjoy!

I don't know about the South Beach tour but we had a late flight (6:40pm) out of Ft Lauderdale and we ended up renting a car real cheap at the airport and spent the day at the beach. The Ft Lauderdale Beach was less than a 10 minute drive from the airport. The person at the rental car agency said they always like to keep some extra cars just for the cruisers with later flights. We cruised the Imagination on March 3. Great ship!

We did that excursion 2 years ago after a cruise on the Paradise. It was fairly interesting and the shopping is fun, but expensive. Personally I would have skipped it, but my wife loved it.
