The Carnival Legend will be christened
by her god-mother Dame Judith Dench on
August 21st, 2002 at Harwich England.
If anyone is planning to attend we would
love to have you post your views and
impressions of the days festivities.
This is Carnivals third "Spirit" class
ship and joins the Spirit and the Pride.

Will be watching the Legend sail out on the 21st, Harwich is just 15 miles from Colchester where I live. As regards the festivities, mere mortals won't get a look in, the ship is full of Travel Agents and the like. When it sails however it passes a small pier only 100 yards off shore, so should get a good view and hopefully some pictures.

Cliff looking forward to your
comments at the sailing. Our
daughter returned Saturday from
seven days on Legend sister ship to
the Pride. The vessel was grand but
the service was not up to par. The
food was fine. Over all she enjoyed
her trip. We are Princess customers
but try Legend NYC to New England
and Quebec in October. Hope to
