why is it that you hear so much people talking about the cruises but no one mentions the carnival elation? is it a bad ship, why?

I like her just fine! We cruised on the Elation when she was temporarily at Port Canaveral in late October 2006. Everything about the ship was great. Very clean and superb service.

we loved the elation there is nothing we have to say that was bad. our seven day cruise was wonderful.the staff was great room was wonderful we had a balcony suite and enjoyed every day of it. you will love this ship.

I sailed on the Elation in Nov 06. I loved it. Only 2 complaints I had. The lifeboats are on the lido deck which obstructs the view. The lido deck is the best deck of all as that is where the pools are and all the action is. 2nd, the buffet is the darkest room I have seen. Though it does have windows it has a lot of stained glass and is just so dark and not a happy place. Other than that I loved it, especially the back deck off the buffet. This is where we ate all our breakfasts. Best kept secret on the ship.

We sailed on the Elation twice in 60 days. I really like her. Just alot of fun.not fancy and snotty. If you know what I mean..hahah

We sailed on the Elation and LOVED her. It was 05 I think and they mentioned then that the crew had won awards for their service within the Carnival line. We loved the back Lido deck, peaceful quiet, plenty of room. Very easy to maneuver around.
