...And the smile of a cruiser. There is just no other situation - in the world- where one smiles like that! I tell you, the only thing I can think about how to get back on a ship!! I went back to work yesterday for the first time since our cruise. The only thing I could think about was cruisin' again. I was running dates, ships and itineries through my mind. I snuck a peek a somebody's St. Thomas pics. I imagined myself sitting in Florentine's (on the Pride) , next to the window, reading and ocassionally turning my head to watch the water outside. Yep! I'm hooked. And it didn't take but one cruise!

Okay. I added you to my "buddy list" on cruise chat.
1. . .not eaten breakfast every morning. I don't do it at home, so there's no need to do it on a trip.
2. . .had more water to drink than diet coke (which I brought with me). Water doens't have the sodium the sodas have.
3. . .brought another book or two to read.
4. . .brought a water-proof, disposable camera with me. (I have 2 for the next cruise!)
5. . .packed more delicates. . . .if you get my drift. The heat and humidity drove me crazy, and even washing out the bras every night wasn't that good of an option because they wouldn't completely dry overnight.
By the way, 5points, before I left on my cruise last year, my employee gave me a book written by a former CD on a number of ships. His main bit of advice was to pack as little as possible. I tried to follow his advice, but still ended up with things I didn't need and wishing I had things I did need.

Re: Item number 5- Yes, I see what you mean. It was hottier than a firecracker in the Mexican Rivera June 26 to July 1. I told my daughters about a trick I used when I was in the military in Texas in Spring/Summer-baby powder on my torso. You would be suprised how baby powder helps make you feel cooler in high humidity conditions!

Oh, for crying out loud, Mr. O. God made us all, for Pete's sake.
