As I was reading our morning paper, there was a huge front page article (not an advertisement) about bed bugs!!

Seems a gentleman developed a spray to keep the flies off his father's cattle and it works on bed bugs.

It is all natural. No pesticides. It comes in a spray for $14.95 per bottle. You don't have to leave your home after you use it. Simply allow it to dry before laying down on the bed.

It kills bed bugs immediately upon contact (but it has to be sprayed directly on the bed bug to kill it) and has some repellant qualities.

Now it is no where near as good as DDT. It will not eradicate the entire species...but it won't eracicate other innocent species either.

His largest "growth area" in sales are to hotels in New Jersey and New York. (no it is not a pandemic~ but it is a growing problem) About 500 warehouses also use the product. ( I don't know why they would be in warehouses...unless they are "hitching" a ride).

Sadly, I have no idea if it has any affect whatsoever on scabies. sorry

But at least it may be good news for bed bugs.

Thanks for that helpful information. Can you purchase this in Canada? We have heard alot about these critters, kind of gives you another thing to be concerned about when travelling.

It has been around for awhile, used in about 500 warehouses to prevent the spread of bed bugs to the customer.

Thanks Dave...I guess I need to get our local TV station to test it on there "Does It Work Thursday?" show!!!

Like I said, it was not one of those full page ads...just a regular informative article in the newspaper.
