I am looking for some advice for dining on the Valor..
can anyone tell me what night is lobster or prime rib night? which nights are formal attire?
We wouldlike to try out the formal retsuarant one night during our cruise and would like to go on a night that isn't one of the nights mentioned above(lobster ,formal..)
Also do you recommend the late seating on this ship? We normally like the late seating however, one our last cruise with RC we were constantly late for the shows because dinner was always running incredibly late.Any advice on this would be really appreciated.
We will be travelling with our 13 yo son but I am sure he will be okay with whatever seating we end up with.
The first formal night on the Valor was Monday, this was Lobster night!! Be sure to tell them you would like two lobsters if you want extra. That's the nice thing, they will bring you as much as you would like. Well, with in reason
Friday was the nest one, no Lobster offered then.
Your in cabin TV will show you the menu for that night. Just step through the menus on the TV to get to the dinner menu.

the dinning room does serve small portions if you have ever eaten in very fine resturants, the meals are served europeon style, so if you are a large portion eater better order double you may order more then one item on the menus as we have done it many times on our cruises or eat one meal and go to the pizza, or buffet afterwards, we,ve don that too.
On Lobster night I tell them ahead of time that I want two. Usually they don't bring the second one until I finished the first one.
I think it would depend on how close it is to the end of dinner if they would bring you something you didn't order in the beginning. They are there to please you so I am sure they would do it if it were possible to get it from the kitchen.
Also the appetizers are not that big. I usually get two because there are so many good ones to choose from
