The average size of a balcony cabin on the Miracle is 185 Sq Ft plus a 40 Sq Ft balcony. Three people should have enough room.

We are a family of three, and I find Carnival's staterooms to be quite spacious -- and we tend to book standard outsides. Check the deck plan for a cabin that has a single convertible sofa. Unlike a sofabed that pulls out to sleep two, the single convertible sofa pulls up into a single bed, using no additional floor space.

Hello, when are you sailing the Miracle? I will be sailing her in August of 2007. To answer your question about three in a room, the room you mentioned is large enough but then that also depends on who the third person is, there may or may not be a privacy issue.
Have a safe and fun cruise!!!!
