Tomorrow is the day we leave for our wonderful honeymoon.

I am asking for last minute input of things that I need to take onboard that might make our journey complete.

I did pick up the bungee cords, the linen sprays, febreze, candle warmers with candles

Anything you can add to the list would be of most help. I will be sure and let everyone know how the cruise goes along with pictures.

Also, we are bringing our laptop, does anyone know the cost of getting internet access in the cabin?

Thanks in advance

An extension cord is the only thing I wish I had had with me.

I don't believe the Conquest has wi-fi for all cabins - just suites and public areas. Only the Valor and Liberty are offering it to all cabins. If you happen to be in a suite, the price is the same as any other internet access on the ship. $3.95 activation fee, and then 75 cents per minute flat rate, or they offer packages of minutes which cuts the price down. See here for pricing.

As Cruise Fanatic said!

No fires or flames please on board!

Don't know where you got that advice, but ditch it now.

Have a great cruise Wave

It is one that is used with a candle warmer, is that not allowed either? I can leave it in the car if I have to.

We are packing as we speak

Our cruise leaves at 4pm, they say embarkment starts at 1:30, is it ok if I get there at around 2pm?

Also, I now realize I don't even know where the cruise ship is located in Galveston.....wow, I am not keeping up am I.....

Anyway HERE WE GO!!!!! FINALLY

I am going to miss chating with you all but I will write a daily journel as to the happenings and be sure and post it as soon as I get internet connection again. I saw the cost of internet and I think I will pass.

Bye Bye everyone........See ya when we return

The candle and the warmer made it on, so did the heating pad.

too late now since you obviously found the Conquest, but I was going to answer your question about where the Conquest is at in Galveston with the response - "You can't possibly miss it. It's the biggest thing on the Island except for teh tallest building...(and its not much shorter than that)
