I'm going on my first cruise in about 15 years (also on Carnival) with family members. I had a couple of questions.

I got a printout when i made the last payment, does the TBA mean "To Be Assigned".

How far in advance do they ship the documentation? Room assignments etc....

I have read alot of reviews with balcony staterooms. Are there any reviews about the rooms in the so called bowels of the ship? mostly I would like to know how quite it is.

I guess thats it for now

Thanks

It varies on when you get your documents. I've had documents since Dec 27th for a Feb 3 cruise. But then other times I've gotten them only 2-3 weeks in advance. You should have your room assignment when you get the documents. As far as noise that can vary too. If your talking ship noise, there has been times when I might hear waves hitting the ship, or depending on location of the room, might here some noises from storage rooms etc. Never anything that has been too bad. On occasion I've noticed noise from more partiers on the bottom deck.
