My cruise is getting close i was wondering do most people travel with thier original birth certificates? or passports? I'm leaving Sept. 8th so it's kinda late for a passport. Just kinda nervous about bringing my original birth certificate aboard.

Also, how are the shows are the Fantsay. And back to the document topic when you get off in the ports do you have to carry your birth certifcate/passport ect to go back through customs???

Thanks
Sassy

Sassy,
Make sure it's your original RAISED SEAL b.c.

Traveling via Carnival, you can take it with you off of the ship, if you desire. We have always left our passports and b.c.'s in our safe and have only taken our sign and sail cards and photo I.D. off the ship with us.

I sailed on the Fantasy last month. At all ports of call the rules were lenient. Just present you sail and sign card to enter or exit. As far as the shows are concerned, you will get to see a great orchestra and plenty of variety shows. Of course, you never know they are going to "fly in" for extra entertainment. Enjoy yourselves and drink a couple of those "carnival specials". After that, anything is a good show.
