We just got back from a Carvinal Valor cruise to the western caribbean. The ship was great and the food was very good. While in Belize, we booked the cave tour through alocal outfit called Reggie's tours. www.regtourcom . reggie was waiting for us when we came out of the terminal. There were only 4 of us on the tour so we were able to asked our guide lots of questions. Our guide gave us a history of Belize City on the 45 minutes drive to the caves. The cave tour was great and we started further up the river than the Carnival tour. The cost was only $45 US per person. A barbacue chicken lunch was available at the end of the tour for $5 and was delicious. I would definitely recommend reggie's tour. Our guide turned out to be Reggie's son.
