Sue & I are doing back to back cruises in Sep 2008.

Glacier Bay followed by Hawaii.

Our question is what happens between cruises? We arrive back in Vancouver from Glacier Bay at 7.00 and leave for Hawaii 5.00pm on same day.

So we have the day to kill, will we get the same cabin? And can we leave our luggage with the ship?

Anyone with past experience would love to hear from you.

Cheers
Col & Sue

Hi Col & Sue, I have not been on this amazing cruise yet! Smile

To my knowledge you don't have to remove the luggage from the cabin, if you have the same one assigned for the next cruise. A Purser will escort you off the ship to go through customs and immigration again. They will then escort you back on the ship to do your check-in at the Info Desk onboard. If you do have a Cabin change between the cruises they will move the luggage to the new Cabin. You will also be given a new Sail & Sign card for the new cruise.

That's all I know about it as a non-professional. Congrats on this wonderful cruise. Smile

Hi Travlin T's, and Welcome to Cruise-Chat!

Congrats on your cruise! Some folks were calling the opposite one the "Fire and Ice" cruise. Smile

Welcome aboard,

Dwayne

Hi IslandCruz,

Thanks for the kind words, actually this is my second cruise but first for dh. I went last year southern exotic on the Legend and loved it. So I can not wait to show dh the joys or cruising. I have a feeling he's going to love it too. He's already talking about plans for more! WooHoo. Yes, I saw that "Fire and Ice" term too but figured since this is looking more the opposite... These forums were my total guide to my first cruise and I was prepared for everything thank to Cruise Chat!
