I just do dramamine the frist day in the AM. Have it with me, but never got sick not even in rough seas.

Ginger tablets are readily available in most health stores or vitamin shops. I haven't come across candied ginger yet, but will stock up when I do. Smile Another ginger alternative is ginger ale.

You can buy Bonine over the counter also and it is safe for pregnant women and children. I give my kids 1/4 of a pill if they start feeling bad. They are fine on the ship but feel bad when we hit the ports of call. My sister in law was pregnant and cruised with us in Oct and her doctor okay'd it for her.

As others have said, you can get ginger pills in vitamin or health food shops (GNC has them usually. The only timne I see candied ginger is at holiday timem although you might find it at Wild Oats or Fresh Market. I never have looked there. You can also try gingersnap cookies.

The patches worn behind the ear work wonders. I am very sensitive to movement, and they did wonders for me.

Hope this helps!!
