I usually start with a Reuben at the Deli and then follow later with Fish and Chips. Don't miss the Shows with the Glory Dancers. They are the best. Get there early to assure a seat on the floor level.

A Cheeseburger in Paradise...There is no substitute Cool

The Reubens are pretty good also and the Turkey Subs. Don't forget they have grilled chicken sandwiches at the lido lunch, just have to ask sometimes.

Favorite Room service sandwiches..BLT, and Roast Beef with Brie. Favorite Pizza..sausage and green pepper, they make it fresh for me Smile

Dang, this is making me hungry and missing being on the ship Razz

They'll also make a calzone for you - special order. It is funny to see the passengers line up every time fresh pizzas come out of the oven. Of course, I am one of them. Wink

All Carnival ships have the deli and 24 hour pizzeria, and room service of course. I think the fish and chips is only on the Glory.

oooooooooooooooo they make calzones toooooooo?!!! you have to ask at the pizza station? how did u find out about that?

i can never eat a whole hamburger at home but when i get on the ship, its like my stomach expands so i can fit at least 5 or more meals a day. and thats not even including snacks lol. it seems like i crave the more american foods like pizza hamburgers and fried chicken. all the fancy smancy stuff i can do without. speaking of pizza and chicken im bringing my own hotsauce this cruise. i dont like tabassco sauce and thats all i get when i ask for hotsauce. so i went to popeyes yesterday and got me a whole bunch of louisana red dot hot sauce packets to put on my pizza and chicken and mostly everything else i eat on the ship lol. except for when i eat in the dining room cuz i dont want to just pull out my ziplock bag full of hot sauce lol

The Carnival pizzerias have a menu. You may have to ask to see it. Inside, it lists calzone as a choice. But yes, you have to ask them to make them for you.

We had a problem getting SALSA not Tobasco sauce, and sour cream with our eggs at breakfast...we Texans love our SALSA...We finished our breakfast before they brought it out to us. They just didn't seem to understand what we really wanted. Then when they did bring it, it was a huge container....more than our whole table would have eaten! haha!

Love that midnight room service!! Oh to be there again......

That is so funny! I cruised with my friend this time and he brought the same thing. A bottle of Lousianna Red DotRed Face He puts that on everything!

17, there is a little trick they do on the older ships. They converted the Pizza Place to do deli too. So I am guessing they don't advertise it to keep from getting overwhelmed, but they do put the Menu off to the side facing away from the pizza line. And are happy to make the sandwiches for you. I found this out on Elation when I saw someone with a Reuben and asked them. I knew the ship did not have the Deli like Glory..I was happily surprised Big Grin

Dave, thanks for the tip, I did not know they had Calzones Smile

But nothing completes the post Casino/Disco closing walk back to the cabin like a Carnival BLT with cheddar ThumbUp

You Carnival guys just might pry me away from Princess with all this talk of good comfort food! Princess has pretty good burgers and pizza, but nothing like what you all are talking about.
Excuse me now; I have to go make a snack.
