Chef, how ironic. My husband says the exact same line to me. There are usually tears rolling down my cheeks and he wants to know what's so funny. I would never miss a cruise. Even if my husband and I were in a tiff. No one is stopping me from going on a cruise. Mad or not, I'm still pulling out with the ship. A'ndrea

tn, believe it or not, I haven't heard a peep from Deege. He's missing out on a great opportunity. My humble opinion, of course. I sincerely hope he and his wife work things out. Especially in light of their son. A'ndrea

Thanks all for you support and offers. I may have to take someone up on their offer. My problem should have been simple, but things just went way overboard. No stepping out involved, just a tenant problem (or not a problem) Wife wants to put tenant out because tenant and wifes best friend no longer speak. Tenant was also best friend of my wifes best friend,,,, with so many best friends what could have gone wrong,,lol. It's a very long story and this isn't the board for this topic. Thanks again all. Have a safe and fun cruise all!!!!!! Deege2424
Hey, did someone remove the cruise ticker for me, I notice it's gone. If so thank you very much now I can try to add my new cruise information. Have a safe and fun cruise all!!!
Andrea, thank you very much. I really don't see it working out, not that I haven't tried. Yes the son is ours together( wife and myself,,,not Andrea,,,lol). Andrea maybe I can have a private chat with you one day and get a womans point of view. And I promise to tell you the truth from both sides. "Oh" and keep those bags ready to be packed at short notice, and it's ok if I unzip one of your bags and your husband pops out,,lol. Have a safe and fun cruise all!!! Deege2424
Deege, men and women are geared differently. What I experience during the day, versus what my husband experiences, are world's apart. I try to understand him and vice versa. It's just the nature of the opposite sex beast. If I do know one thing for sure, it's to keep your child out of your adult affairs. It's not healthy for them. Hope all turns out well for you. Back to cruising talk..... A'ndrea

Deegee2424...I hope everything works out where you will be the happiest. I am not an advocate of divorce by any means, especially having been through one, but i can now look back and say it was the best money I ever lost and was worth every penny to be out of the situation. Now to get you to laugh....about your ticker - perhaps she took it? you ARE going to have a wonderful cruise!
tn, I think the best prescription for Deege right now is hooking up with Mr. O and Deege giving him that extra cruise ticket. Yee haw! That ship will never be the same. A'ndrea

My Dad in that "chat" gave me the undouted benifit,of his complete knowledge of women,he said " women are the most beautiful things that exist, they are stronger, and more complete than men" he also said, that to be liked by women you should listen, care, and never fall asleep first, its so easy to behave in a macho chauvinist way,it take no brain, I hope you can sort this out not for a cruise but for your life. best of luck
steve, I can't find any post on this topic about your Dad. I do appreciate the wisdom though.
Deege, I would have to agree with another Poster here and say... Yes dear I am sorry! There is no winning this if is a good marriage.
I ain't Dr. Phil, but I can say it takes two to argue and have different ideas. My old remedy was make nice and whip the credit card out. That is not a solution I found out. Sometimes you just have to talk with each other and see where these feelings are coming from.
Pushing it further about going on a Family cruise without your wife as a retaliation is not a good thing for your kids.
You are right, don't mix business with friends. It is a big

No he died in Jan 91yrs, a great mentor to me, my mum is also 91yrs and took her first trip in a boat in 1935, married for over 60yrs and inseperable until January, so he was worth listening to, if not he was a gifted am/boxer, taught me never to lose my temper in and out of the ring, and keep your guard up, and your chin tucked in
Waaaa wifey dont want to go now WWaaaa..lol If that was me I couldnt have been more happy if my ex wife ever said that, I posted a few reasons why I Travel without a partner a few months back I will repost them here.
quote:
I cruise alone all the time well... I took two women with me on sepreate cruises and both ended up the two worst cruises Ive taken. couldnt stand the complaining ...like "I dont want to go to the Casino" " I have to do my hair and make up I'll be ready in an hour" "we have been sitting in the hot sun for over an hour" "sex?.. Now.. It's only 11:00 am" "sex? ..Now...someone may come up on the deck and see us " "lets go shopping" "it's 10:30 pm lets go to Bed" " she's just going to braid my hair Ill be done in an hour" "another beer? youve already had two today so far" "No!! the shower is too small for both of us at once" "i have to make the bed and clean up before the stewart comes" "the topless deck is for perverts" " I look Fat in That Bikini Ill wear this one piece with a cover up" "Don't do that Here....I think theres cameras in the Elevators" " I dont like the way the Girls were Looking at you when you were singing" " I just want to Cuddle" "Theres not enough room up there by the Port Holes to do that" " stop using the mouthwash right from the bottle"
The list can go On and On.... Going on my 6th cruise January 25th and going alone... Booked another one for October 13th of 2007 on the Liberty By myself as well.
There is no words to describe the freedom of Cruiseing alone!!! there are plenty of singles on board to play with and dance with then go back to being alone doing what you want to do when you want to do it...this past October on the Sensation (4 night)I just didnt feel like getting off the ship at either port so I didnt It was my choice and I had a great cruise just hanging around the ship for the whole cruise...you can do whatever you want !!!! It's a wonderful Life...lol Do a four day cause the quick three days is just one day too short. youll just be getting used to it and then it's over...the extra 4th night is just enough, Im doing my first 8 day in Oct ...Just hope i have enough Casino money to hold out that long.... Try it alone you'll love it Just My Experience. http://www.myspace.com/mroctober2u
I'm dreaming of cruising alone. But I wake up and discover that I can't because of my son, and that's not a bad thing to wake up to because I love my 6yr. old and where I go he goes. Mr. O I can imagine the fun you have on your cruises. I am dreaming of an Hawaii cruise but thats going to take a lot of saving. I want my son to see Hawaii be for he's ten (10) so that puts me on a 3 year plan. Divorce,,,Alimony,,Child support,,,Make that a 20 yr. plan,, Hey maybe that means my son may take me to Hawaii. But they say it's cheaper to keep her,,, maybe I will take the cheap way out, lol. Have a safe and fun cruise all!! Deege2424
