That's really the only way to enjoy your cruise...
So... Deege, I'm proudly pleased to inform you of your official enrollment in our "Husband Pride Resurrection Association". Hang on.
We proudly meet every friday evening.
(er...next time, unfortunately, I can't meet the guys because my wife wants me to stay at home with the children as she goes to the disco with her pals...)
Well let me tell you something...My wife threatened to not go on a vacation several times..so the last time she got mad and said she wasn't going....Guess what? I said fine...then the next day I cancelled her on the reservation and put my best friend on the reservation...spent a week in Negril and had a nice relaxing vacation...SANS WIFE!!!! And I haven't been on vacation with her since...and don't plan to anytime soon.
Deege you are my new personal hero!!! Someone has to do something!!! LOL
The way I see it she was the one that said “no to the cruise” Believe me sometime during next week she will ask “when do we going to the cruise” Then you can say “Nunca, Finito, nada, no way!!!” So like they said in other forums OWNED!!!BABY!!!
Is your wife your son's mother? If so, wouldn't he want her there with him for his b-day?
If that is not his mother, leave her home. If she is willing to ruin his b-day holiday just to prove a point, she needs to stay home. See if your son has a friend that can go with you two. That would be a blast for him and make it easier on you b/c the two children will entertain each other.
IBCRUZIN' Say hi to the dancer from NH for me. I will tip her off about about your sons 7th birthday, and perhaps she will remember and surprise him with a Happy Birthday greeting

Carl, can't fault a girl for trying, right? I'm really working it here. Can you tell? A'ndrea P.S. The only thing I won't do is bungee from the balcony. My friends say I can jump out of a cake well. Won't your son like that for his birthday? My luggage is out and waiting for your reply.

Thanks Carl. Isn't the saying, if you don't laugh, you'll cry? I'm trying to help Deege see the funny side in all of this craziness he's going through. I gotta million of 'em! A'ndrea

Jim, I hope Deege sees how hard I'm trying to earn this trip. The best part is... absolutely NO commitment whatsoever after the cruise is over. It's a walk-away. Name me one guy that would not love this arrangement? A'ndrea

Possibly Ken. Or it could even be something more damaging with life-altering consequences, such as, Deege forgot to put the toothpaste cap back on. A'ndrea

A'ndrea, you are one silly lady. Silly is good in my book. My wife sees me laughing or smiling at the computer, she says, "how are all your little friends on cruise chat?"
Alls I know is I would be in the dog house if I went on a cruise without the wifey because of an arguement. I would be afraid to come back from the cruise, locks changed and a big pile of ashes in the yard of what were my belongings
