Does anyone what the newest ships are in the fleet that have the huge waterslides?

Both of them are pretty close to the same age. With the Inspiration being 1996, and the Imagination 1995.
All Carnival ships have the spiral waterslide though, they just vary in length.

That's ok I understand.
The Freedom has a Spiral Waterslide and the Seaside Theater. The Legend only has the Spiral Waterslide.
Neither ship has the new WaterWorks slides that are being put on the Fantasy Class ships.
