I am cruising with friends made 2 years ago.

Hi Kato. It completely depends on your children. We have two daughters, ages 13 and 17. My 17 year old will not go to the disco or any get togethers with kids her age on the ship. She has never had any interest in meeting kids on the ship. At home, she has many friends in school, she's heading for college in the fall, and very outgoing. We have asked her why she doesn't go to activities and meet some new friends. She always says the same... I have my friends, at home, I don't need new friends. Her lose I guess.

Now, my 13 year old daughter can't wait to go to the first Club02 get together and meet friends. After that, we hardly ever see her. She's busy swimming with them, doing the talent show, walking around the ship and getting to know them. This is their 5th cruise and my youngest still corresponds with girls via e-mail she's made on her first cruise.

Every child is different.
