Well we survived Claudette leaving Galveston on 7-14. Our first cruise. 17 of us. on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this cruise as an 8. All but one employee was wonderful. Rooms were bigger than I expected. We had oceanview on Express deck. Even this high up still quite a bit on rudder noise when leaving/coming in to ports. But nothing can be done about that. Only real compliant was the food. Pretty lousy. Plain, no choices, no seafood to speak of. For families with kids I would highly recommend because of price. However, we had several that hated camp. Too boring. 7-8 yrs director never took them out of room, didn't feed kids, etc.
