My husband is a keen surfer and is wondering if he can bring is surfboard on the cruise (we are going to Hawaii). I cant find any info if its allowed and also if thats a problem to carry on tenders ?

I would call the cruiseline about that one. Better safe then sorry.

They claim you can bring any amount of luggage as long as it fits in your stateroom. However, I would still call on that one. It might be easier to consider renting one in Hawaii instead of worring about lugging it onto the airplane and then dragging it back and forth from the ship.

I would not want to have to get a surfboard all the way from Australia on an airplane, sounds like a lot of trouble. But if he is an avid surfer I doubt he would be happy with a rented board.

If the ship will allow it I don't see a problem with a tender, I have seen all sorts of things taken on the tenders.

I recently had to call them about something, so I mentioned this. They told me they were not allowed to brought on board the ship.

hi dwayne thanks for the info- got the same reply and we cant even buy one while in hawaii and bring it with us.. they had a few other things like scooters or bicycle that are not permitted aboard as well..
