What's the scoop on Carnival Freedom. We are getting ready to book a March 2007 cruise and wondered if anyone knew anything about it. I checked their website and could not find anything. Anybody know?? Anything new and innovative onboard, what ititerary??

I have not heard anything about the Carnival Freedom. . . .Are you sure you aren't thinking of Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas? It is set to sail later this year. It is the ship where you can "surf," and I believe they have a boxing ring on board, too.

Nope I am not mixed up. If you look on Cruise critic they list the ships and the names that are set to release 2006,2007 etc. It says Carnival Freedom. I don't think it is by accident the names are so close but it is different. Some of the travel agencies list that information too. It has it is to set sail Feb. 2007 but doesn't list itenary etc.

Yes, There is a Carnival Freedom due out in Feb 2007 @ 110,000 ton, Carnival Splendour in Spring 2008 @ 111,200 ton, and a TBA in Fall 2009 @ 130,000
