We have booked our first cruise!! Excited, yes! What's the latest on the Sensation?
Can anyone tell me about smoking on cruise ships - we are non smokers.

Hi sardis, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Congratulations on your up-coming cruise. Be warned, cruising is addictive All ships have designated smoking areas. No dining room, show facilities, hallways or elevators allow smoking. Haven't had the pleasure of sailing on the Sensation, but am sure it's a great ship. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise, and once again, welcome aboard!

The Sensation was our 2nd ship (3rd cruise), but it was out of New Orleans at the time (long before Katrina). We took my in-laws and neice (6 people total) and had a fantastic time.

As Penny mentioned cruising can be addictive, we'll be taking cruise number 8 in a few days, and number 9 will be on New Years. I've averaged almost 2 cruises per year since we started on our 10th wedding anniversary.

The Sensation was my 3rd cruise. I loved the ship. If you are going after February 12th, 2009 you are in for a treat. The Sensation will have the new Waterworks and pool area completed then.
