We are cruising on the Pride on June 15 and I was wondering about the Past Guest parties. My Mom and Dad and my Husband have all cruised on Carnival before and I have not. My question is that if the three of them get to go to the Past Guest party ... Will I be able to go also? Does anyone have any experience with this same scenario?

Thank You!

K

Yes, Guest traveling in the same cabin with a past guest can go. The party usually last about an hour. They walk around with drinks on a tray already made up, you can ask for something else, but it will take a long time to get it. They also will have hordourves.

Thanks for the info Cruise Fanatic. Someone asked this before and I didn't know for sure now. I knew they were not too strict about it when they use to use the card invitations to present. I just went to the desk and they printed them up for my Sis and a table-mate for me to give them.

Thank You! That makes me a happy girl.

Oh yea! One thing that I learned is that when our TA was looking up my Mom and Dad as past guest she could only find my Dad. Knowing that they had cruised together I knew that my Mom had to be in the system. The TA was looking my Mom up by her legal name so I asked her to try the name she goes by and Tada!!! She found her. Same thing with my husband ... He goes by Wally but his legal name is Walter. Once she typed in Wally she found him. It has been 15 years plus since any of them had been on their cruise with Carnival and I think things were different then.

So in closing... If you are not having any luck with your TA finding you as a past guest and you go by more then one name.... have them look you up by the name you go by most often. Hope this helps others.

Glad to hear it. Smile

Very good advice also. They can find you even if you don't have your number.

The look up for a past guest is very exacting. I'm a jr. sometimes it was on the ticket sometimes not, Sometimes with a middle initial. The search treated them all as separate people. I have all my trips consolated now and I think I asked them to search on my phone number, that hasn't changed in 30 years.

Thanks CruiseDad for this Info. They had mine messed up a few years ago too. They combined them all. Somehow I had two past guest numbers.
