Question -- Are the double convertible sofas in the Cat 12 Suites on the Imagination the kind that fold out (with the bar that KILLS your back) or the kind that the couch kind of folds down?

We're sailing on Monday and my son wanted to know more info about his accommodations! We have slept on the single-type sofa but never the double.

Any help is most appreciated!

Sleeper sofas are notorious for being uncomfortable and either they aren't on Carnival, or nobody has had to use the double sleepers in a suite, or at least not talked about it.

I've slept on the sofa sleeper on this ship and yes it the kind with the metal bars. It wasn't too bad though. I was even pregnant when I slept on it and managed to sleep ok.
