As the name implies, it is a party boat. This means that alcohol will flow freely. Most of the party boats we've been on are fun, but sometimes there are those that get carried away. Some figure they will not see people again and forget civility, but most of the time it's just a good time.

I would definately steer the family away from this excursion. It can get pretty wild. My husband and I took this on our honeymoon and I'll tell you this was on the 4th day of our 7 day cruise and we didn't have another drink for the rest of the trip. It's not that we are hard drinkers but they use 151 proof rum in the punch and it knocked us for a loop! We went on it on our last cruise as well but drank less. Mostly for partiers but that is just my opinion. I didn't see any minors on the two times we took this excursion. The beach we stopped at was beautiful however and we played volleyball. It was fun.

The punch debster11 refers to is often also referred to as gasoline. Eek

Not a good excursion for families with under age kids in my humble opinion. Smile
