Hello all. I am going on a western carribean cruise on jan 3, 2010 and was wondering if anyone can tell me about the Legend ship. Thank you.

Hey Spark 225. I just wanted to take a minute and say welcome to cruise-chat. I have not been on the Legend, but I do know among the members here it is a wonderful ship and it is a favorite. Hi Spark225, let me join vacationbound in welcoming you to Cruise-Chat. Congratulations on your up-coming cruise! I haven't sailed on the Legend, either, but did want to welcome you on board. Our Carnival expert, Dwayne, is on a ship right now. I'm not sure if he's sailed the Legend or not, but maybe Dave, Cruise Fanatic, or JimC has. We've sailed Carnival 5 times, and have always had a great vacation. The chocolate melting cake has been fantastic on all of the ships we've been on. I'm sure you'll get some answers from those who have sailed her. I'm pretty sure LHP has been on her. Best wishes!

We sailed on the legend last year. We had a great time. The layout is good, some people dont like the decor but hey you are on vacation. I thought it was fine. the food was great, the shows were wonderful. Over all you will have a great time. We met some of the nicest people on the Legend, we still keep in touch. Put your fears aside, it will be great.

We sailed on the Legend a few years ago out of New York to the Western Carib. Probably one of our favorite ships - although not a new ship, we found it to be in great shape with a user friendly layout. We hooked up with some fantastic tablemates which always makes a big difference. It's one of the faster ships in the fleet so we had more time to spend at the ports. Have fun!
