I am in the process of booking a cruise on Carnival Triumph next Thanksgiving for myself, husband and 3 kids ages 10, 13 and 15.

I think I want two rooms next to each other or across the hall from each other on the upper deck or empress deck.

Any recommendations that anyone can give me will be appreciated.

I'm considering the cabins near the back of the ship ie rooms 6432 and 6430 or 7419 and 7415 or 7417.

Considerations are about noise, safety of the balcony for kids, room size and sleeping arrangements.
Thanks

Balconies can be unsafe for anyone, not just children. We personally love them, and would not sail unless we have one. Some ships have connecting staterooms. Can't remember which one I was on that did. There's also a stipulation on some ship's that children under a certain age must have an adult in the room. Have you thought of a family suite?
