We had a balcony room last time and LOVED it!!! My only complaint would be the bathroom. If we can afford it we are considering a suite this time. Just looking for some general input.

Suite. Definitely. With the exception of a cruise I finished last Sunday, we always get a suite. Better bathroom - tub vs shower. Dressing table vs itty bitty counter. Better closet space, room space. Nicer amenities. Refrigerator. On some ships a better room service menu. Better in-room service all around. Go suite if you feel you can afford it; I know the room is just supposed to be a place to put your clothes and sleep, but if the money isn't an issue go for it!

SUITE Definitely!

If your happy with the balcony stay with the balcony, if you want it for more room more counter more closet and more bathroom go for it. Be warned you may get spoiled and have to take less cruises that cost more! If your doing a suite just for a larger bathroom consider using the showers in the sauna / gym facilities. in most cases they are actually nicer than the ones in the suites! they often have multiple shower heads and a whole lot more room for shaving your legs (if that applies)!
