teachabee- Yes, I have not been on a cruise ship yet that did not have a blow dryer in the cabin. Carnival typically puts them in a drawer outside the bathroom in the makeup table. Probably to keep drunkards from trying dry their hair in the shower...

Diana, yes, there are blow dryers and, for once, they are powerful. It's a smaller type, wall mounted and located in the bathroom.
