Question:
Just found out the price of our cruise has dropped more than $500.00 for three people on the Legend on April 11th. Carnival won't drop our amount because we' ve already paid but they are willing to upgrade us. I'd rather have the money in my pocket. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Call back, ask another agent (this sometimes works). If they refuse, ask to speak to a supervisor, or customer service. Make a scene as much as your willing. Sometimes it just takes a little push. You are still pretty far out from sailing. Also, ask them about a shipboard credit, that is just as good as money in your pocket (since you will likely spend a few hundred on the cruise). They will not give you the whole difference, but push for a nice chunk (like 75%). That is what they usually do for my customers. Good Luck!!
