April, You can bring your own water on the ship. I always bring my own. I believe the the allowence is 1 case per person. The cabin steward will bring you ice everyday to keep it cold(if you request it), have fun on your cruise.

thank you so much for the tip..I'm sad that the fountain card won't work. How do you bring a case of water? do you carry it or put with your checked luggage? if so how do you label it?

I have carried in in my carry on and packed it in my suitcase. You don't need a special label. This is a little different then the airport. Just keep the bottles sealed. They have never questioned it. I agree with the last reply. The water on the ship is good. You can get it anytime and possibly just refill your bottle and you wont have to bring as much. I even bring diet coke cans and bottles with me as well. Have a good trip
i get the coke card every time ,. plus i bring a 12 pack of coke for at night time when in room thats all i need on a 5 day cruise.i put them in my suit case.i hate heavy carryons
Does anyone know how much a Fountain Fun Card cost for a 8 day Cruise and if you don't get one how much do they charge you for a soda on your sail & sign card?
We were on the Spirit last Oct. I believe that we paid $54.00 including tip..that will be close anyway. A can on soda will cost you $1.75, plus 15% tip Welcome to Cruise Chat
Hi akatzwaa, I join Gary in Welcoming you to Cruise-Chat!
A good rule of thumb is $4.00 per day for 18 years old and under, $5.50 per day for adults. This should be good for up to 8 day cruises. They start giving discounts for the longer cruises after that. You will have to add the 15% gratuity to these prices.
You might want to call them for a current price quote though.

Just checked our last sign and sail bill. Dwayne is correct. It is $5.50 and day plus gratuity. that is $6.33 a day or $50.20 for an 8 day cruise per card. If you drink more than 3 cans a soda a day is is worth the cost.
$50+ for soda? Thats just too much-I'm not cheap, I'm just not into carbonated drinks that much. I always carry on 2-3 cases of water in a duffle type bag than use the bag for things that we buy on the cruise-it works out pretty good. Nobody has ever said one word to me about the amount of water I carry onboard. Our whole family went last summer,8 of us, and we had a total of about 12 cases of water-not 1 word from security, and like previously posted, our cabin steward kept us in ice the whole cruise. when we wanted something a litte tastier, we would drink the iced tea, lemonade or buy the occasional virgin pina colada or strawberry daquri. Have fun and enjoy your cruise.

For us non drinkers that "occasional virgin pina colada or strawberry daquri" that most folks have pays for our soda. With that said there are plenty of other options on board.
