What are the rules these days about bringing liquor back on the airlines, sealed, from St. Thomas, or wherever?

You could put them in your checked luggage but you can't carry them on.

We packed 2 bottles of rum in our checked luggage, inside of a box as well. Guess what, one of them leaked. Guess what, it was in the bag with our good clothes. Thankfully, I had also wrapped a plastic bag around the box and had the plastic bags from the cleaners in between the box and the clothes. However, it still made for a wonderful rum smell in and around the suitcase. We're driving to Ft. Lauderdale for our Christmas cruise, so I plan on buying the bulk of my liquor then. I can pack it in my own car, by myself, without having gorillas slinging my luggage around. Best wishes and have a wonderful cruise!!
